IBM Rational DOORS Advanced Training combines advanced end-user functionality with hands-on exercises. Deepen your understanding of DOORS Classic and practise managing requirements, analysing links and working with controlled project data.
Work with folders and projects, manage modules and objects, split and merge objects, and use DOORS templates. Exercises cover access controls, share-mode operation, creating and managing attributes, locating objects and setting attribute values. Explore link modules and link sets, link attributes, traceability and impact analysis, copying modules and objects with links, suspect links, incoming and outgoing link analysis, and link behaviour within and outside baseline sets.
Apply advanced filters and create, copy and manage views using search, sort and filter settings. Exercises cover the Layout DXL Library, converting layout DXL to attribute DXL, module and object history, creating and opening baselines, copying baselines, module timelines, baseline sets and baseline-set definitions. Practise importing from Word and exporting to RIF, Excel, Word and XML, including advanced Excel export. Review access control, useful DOORS administration information and other import/export tools.
For business analysts, systems engineers, software engineers, requirements engineers, requirements managers and requirements team leaders involved in capturing and managing requirements with DOORS Classic. Basic IBM Rational DOORS knowledge is required. Agree the notebook and exercise-environment setup when enquiring.
EVOCEAN retains DOORS Classic expertise particularly for migration. Training can highlight what changes when moving to DOORS Next.
