Overview

The Watson IoT Continuous Engineering Summit event will deliver in-depth technical content targeted at architects, developers, testers, integrators and managers by offering lectures and hands-on labs to expand your knowledge and expertise on the latest technologies, trends, tips and techniques.

We will be presenting on Wednesday 16th May our talk:

“Pathing the way to the Digital Twin with MBSE”

We believe that the path towards the Digital Twin requires a strong modelling approach. EVOCEAN has developed over the last years an MBSE approach called Serenity. Serenity offers an intuitive approach and provides a digital continuity from the needs elicitation to the technical solution that allows a lean management apporach of the project with very high reuse potential. We propose in this session for you to discover the 4 Serenity perspectives and how these – system needs, the system concept, the technical choices and the design – interact and are integrated into a set of consistent and valuable models. Additionally, we will explain during the session how the approach differs from the status quo and how Serenity allows to manage core assets to maximise the potential of reuse based on Serenity’s inherent model architecture, organisation and principles.

5 key reasons to attend Watson IoT Summit

1. Upgrade your skills.Training is the key to success.

Get up to speed on the latest technologies, trends, tips and techniques – direct from industry leaders.

2. Select in-depth technical sessions

Learn about the latest technologies for Continuous Engineering (CE), the Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Twins and more.

3. Gain varied practical experience and get involved

Test-drive the latest technologies through hands-on labs. Meet with IBM partners and engineering associations to discuss the latest trends in the exhibition hall and labs.

4. Take advantage of networking opportunities

Exchange ideas and interact with colleagues, peers, technology gurus, executives and experts during the welcome reception, happy hours, networking breaks, “Birds of a Feather” gatherings and exhibitions.

5. Understand future impacts on your business

Learn how IBM Watson IoT technologies can help you address new engineering complexities associated with connected products, IoT ecosystems, and service-centric business models.

Customers about our services

Perforce Helix Customer sold to global leading company.

"Perforce Helix Core fully meets our expectations. We have a solution from one source on which we can rely."

Head of Product Development

Schmidhauser AG

"A picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks to Rational Rhapsody® models, we can discuss new functionalities much better with our customers – even without knowledge of the code."

Peter Bode

Project Manager Mobile Drives

Mettler Toledo AG

„I would recommend Rhapsody anytime – by using Rhapsody I can reach a new level of programming and efficiency.“

Wolfgang Boos

Head Software Development

Bernina International AG

„The architecture must be set up in the right way and in conformity with the requirements of model driven development – right from the beginning! I strongly recommend to seek for the support of an external, experienced Rhapsody specialist as for example supplied by EVOCEAN and to model the architecture together.“

Giovanni Annunzio

System Architect

Kern AG

„Even if the change to Rhapsody required at first additional investment and effort – we have never regretted our decision. The fully automatic code generation from the model makes our life easier!“

Andreas Dubach

Head of Development Systems

Mettler Toledo AG

„Development in the embedded area should be platform independent and the used tools should support this!“

Wolfgang Boos

Head Software Development

soplar s.a. – Training

„Starting to use Rational Rhapsody®without coaching or training is not recommended. Understanding the why behind certain processes is essential to working effectively. Training with EVOCEAN was very valuable for me in this regard."

Vitali Mozgovoi

Software Developer

SIX Financial Information Ltd

“Our vision was to know at all times in which process phase a change is.”

Michael K. Steinhöfel-Cordova

Head of Quality Management

Bernina International AG

„Thanks to the models we can visualise new functions and dependencies. A picture says more than a 1'000 words and the graphically modelled abstraction makes life much easier for us developers. At the same time, the automatic code generation based on the models takes over a substantial part of our work!“

Giovanni Annunzio

System Architect

Bernina International AG

„For Bernina, abstraction, simulation, reuse and automatic code generation are central for a short time-to-market … and therefore the key of our success!"

Giovanni Annunzio

System Architect
