ReqEdit is available as a standalone client, that offers you the possibility to work offline. A low cost version for reading ReqIF files allows you to read reqif files more easily. Hence, using one tool philosophy making support and user adoption easier.
The Reader is the low cost read-only version of ReqEdit. Furthermore, it allows users to view ReqIF files, preserving the document structure, formatting and also all embedded files (Word, Excel, PDF, jpg) effectively and easily.
The ReqEdit Premium Edition is a standalone Client Software and designed as a simple and portable ReqIF editor for Microsoft Windows. ReqEdit supports ReqIF as a native format for displaying and editing data. Furthermore, existing requirements can be edited and created.
The ReqEdit Ultimate Edition is based on ReqEdit Premium and includes various Add-On to ease the work even more, such as the importers from Word and Excel, a merge tool and a compare tool. Further includes a Detach Function such that you can use the Tool without Internet access.
The focus of the Server is to reduce the management efforts regarding data exchange or ReqIF document management for your projects. Above all, the Server offers you a central place to organise your ReqIF Files, version them and is also entabled to communicate with the the standalone ReqEdit Clients.
The Word Add-on is a converter for Word files into ReqIF files. As such, this software converts the complete file into one ReqIF document and keeps the formatting of the text and attached files. In addition, the possibility to add individual keywords to determine requirements makes the conversion even more efficient.

This tools helps in automation of Requirements Interchange. As a result, using the software RoboTask© sold as a bundle, triggers for repetitive tasks are easily defined. Above all, the batch mode enables the conversion of all new incoming files into ReqIF. Therefore with RoboTask proceeding several commands together such as the automatic sending of emails for updated files is possible.
ReqEdit Supply-Chain
This special Edition helps buyers to ease working with multiple suppliers helping in reducing admin overhead and keeping track of changes. The package includes a full internal version and a special supplier version branded to the customer to ensure a smooth process. The solution helps to ease the management of changes, comments and annotations, which become a challenge when dealing with 10s or even 100s of suppliers during the RFI, RFQ, RFP processes with fast evolving specification in highly innovative projects.
